Overview

The Syneos Health Sales Manager is responsible for the management and development of the Sales Team, fostering a constructive team spirit and implementing and monitoring marketing/sales programs to ensure that sales targets are achieved within designated budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for a sales and result-oriented structuring of the pharmaceutical salesforce
  • Monitoring of key performance indicators such as turnover, sales, market share, potential, action plans, etc.
  • Coordination of the field service in the planning, implementation, and control of marketing activities
  • Ensure accountability when it comes to allocation, control and influence of sales expenses to effectively achieve profit expectations
  • Fully understand the customer needs and seeks to use understanding as a way to build new business opportunities
  • Establish and implement clear performance standards and measurements to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Evaluate monthly sales results quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Identify value differentiators linked to the client’s products and services per key account/HCP needs

Job Requirements

  • Experience in leading field teams
  • Experience with start-up companies
  • Experience in the established area and clinical area
  • Must also already be working in the field - will get own key account customer base
  • 60-70% travel/work in the field/employees
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams/matrix structures
  • Experience in leading employees virtually/virtual interaction with HCPs
  • Experience in gastro/neurology big plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasking and project management skills.
  • German and English.
