We are seeking an experienced healthcare PR professional with a solid background in data communications and FDA milestones for an account focused on COVID-19. 

• Co-lead the development and execution of communications strategy for multiple milestones taking place within condensed period of time
• Oversee, and develop, materials for regulatory and data milestones including but not limited to press releases, key messages, fact sheets, Q&As and social media content
• Support development of communications narrative and provide messaging guidance and points of view to seasoned pharma clients
• Provide innovative thinking on how to communicate certain milestones that may not require the traditional strategies
• Anticipate and help plan for reputational risk in a fast moving and ever changing landscape; work with issues team to reactively respond to issues  
• Help manage and delegate to a core team of four, with coordination oversight of work with several shared services and vendors
• Ensure team stays on track with timelines and deliverables
• Help demonstrate ROI by ensuring measurement is reflected in every activity
• Identify and strategize around organic growth opportunities
• Oversee team budget management and monthly billing processes 
• Serve as one of main points of contact for core comms clients

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree  
• Minimum 9-10 years of experience in a professional environment within the public relations and/or communications industries (required) 
• Deep experience in healthcare communications with a focus on high-science, data/regulatory milestones (required) 
• Ability to lead a team and perform under pressure in an incredibly fast-paced environment (required) 
• Must be an established and strong writer (required) 
• Ability to foster and strengthen trust and client relationships (required)
• Ability to manage and coordinate a large team; provide mentorship and guidance (required)
• Budget management expertise (required)
• Issues management experience (preferred)
