The primary purpose of the role is to become the main day to day contact for the client. This will mean working with the team both internally and externally (suppliers) to ensure the timely delivery of projects. As well as taking primary ownership of accounts and the management of high quality outputs from the team.

Responsibilities

Client Services Management

•Delegate and manage tactical & administrative processes
•Develop key client relationships and assume day to day contact role while ensuring client satisfaction
•Take a lead role on ensuring clients tactics are delivered through appropriate strategic, creative & digital routes
•Start to build an understanding of the client’s business
•Support senior team members on new pitches and attend F2F pitch presentations when required
•Generate ideas and proposals for new projects with assistance from senior team members

Product/Task Leadership & Accountability 

•Establishing project management processes in order to stay on top of all project related details and timelines
•Coordinating project activity and delegating tasks to the team
•Managing day-to-day project activity from start to finish
•Managing junior colleagues and overseeing their activity
•Developing project budgets and deadlines
•Preparing project materials
•Establishing strong working relationships with clients
•Keeping clients updated on project activity

Business Management

•Manage client-related financial & business operations for the team
•Input into project business/financial deliverables
•Apply sound business insight & judgment in the best interests of the agency & our clients
•Demonstrate solid understanding of MedComms business
•Understand the healthcare industry and to apply to day-to-day work
•Responsible for accurate input of all hours worked onto timesheets on a daily basis for self and teams

Team Orientation/Collaboration

•Begin to set the example for professionalism & work ethic on the account team
•Begin to demonstrate leadership as the day-to-day champion of the brand, internally & externally
•Mentor junior level team members and ensure they feel supported.  Similarly support senior staff by managing up
•Manage direct reports effectively by providing constructive  and actionable feedback
•Actively contributes to the culture of the wider team
•Contribute to Company meetings

Job Requirements

•Degree educated
•Good organizational and administration skills
•Strong communications skills
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Strong attention to detail and good proof reading skills
•Solution focused – suggestion of ideas and recommendations where appropriate
•Able to lead a team effectively
•Able to demonstrate influencing skills and abilities
•Good financial & commercial acumen
•Knowledge of pharma regulations (ABPI)
•Ability to use Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
