The Senior Account Executive level will have the opportunity to help develop and implement programs in highly-impactful and important areas of healthcare: rare disease and medical devices. Expertise or a strong interest in these areas is favorable.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

• Day-to-day project support with opportunities for high-profile pharmaceutical client with a focus on rare disease. The account includes a wide span of communications support including data and regulatory milestones, patient engagement and internal communications.
• Work with energized teams and engaged clients who appreciate attention to detail, creative and quick thinking and collaboration

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular contact with clients; proactively offer and successfully implement new ideas and solutions to meet client needs and drive projects forward
• Overseeing client’s formal medical/legal/regulatory review process, including scientific referencing of documents
• Develop external and internal communications, ranging from media materials to unbranded patient engagement content, client communications for external and internal meetings and announcements
• Regularly engage and collaborate with client business and agency partners, advocates, creative teams, vendors, media and other third parties
• Manage timelines, calendars and overall account support materials
• Manage budgets and monthly billing processes
• Develop action plans and help with team operations

Job Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry (agency experience is preferred), and a bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or a related field
• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal staff and third-parties
• Self-starter/self-motivator
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is adaptable/flexible
