Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions Commercial Division, which partners with top-tier pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. The Regional Sales Director will report to the Syneos Health National Business Director and will be responsible for directing the sales team in their assigned region to meet the corporate sales & marketing strategies. You will:

  • Drive revenue and develop a top sales team by providing ongoing tactical and strategic guidance
  • Exceed regional objectives by analyzing market data working cross functionally with leadership, and developing both short- and long-term sales plans
  • Monitor regional activities to ensure all are within compliance guidelines and provide timely feedback on business tactics and while collaborating closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing and medical affairs

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Advanced Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of commercial pharmaceutical experience
  • 3+ years of regional management experience (2nd line preferred)
  • Experience in Endocrinology or Diabetes is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $190,000.  The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position.  Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.  In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
