MSL Field Director

Overview

You formulate a plan and empower your team to provide clinical expertise to healthcare providers helping them to improve patient outcomes.  

Responsibilities

The regional field director is responsible for leading a CV Medical Science Liaison (MSL) regional team in providing scientific, research, and educational support to health care professionals and other key stakeholders.  The regional field director is responsible for providing oversight of all activities in accordance with current health care compliance and regulatory guidelines.

• Ensure that the MSL team functions are according to the strategic and business plan along with company directives
• Conducts regular team field visits and ride-alongs (1:1) to provide mentoring, coaching and development to the MSLs
• Ensures that individual and team field metrics are achieved
• Ensures the effective and efficient collection of medical insights by the field team for communication to internal stakeholders

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Master’s degree required
• Minimum of 3 years experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Previous MSL experience required
• Ability to travel up to 60-75% of the time including overnight travel when needed

Desired Requirements:

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) preferred
• Cardiology/Anticoagulation experience preferred
• Pharmaceutical field or business management preferred
