This opportunity is seeking an experienced Second Line Leader in Pharmaceutical Sales for the position of Regional Sales Director. The Regional Sales Director is accountable for driving performance of the brand(s) within their geography and owns the successful implementation of strategic direction. The ideal Regional Sales Director candidate will:

  • Successfully lead of a team of District Sales Managers and Territory Sales Representatives and provide coaching, management, financial and operational oversight necessary to meet / exceed sales goals
  • Partner with commercial peers and leadership to drive sales execution in an assigned franchise.
  • Oversee the actibities and performance of their team. 
  • Meet or Exceed program goals.

  • Bachelors Degree required - Advanced Degree Preferred
  • 10+ Years of Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry experience
  • 5+ Years of sales leadership experience
  • Track record of strong leadership contribution
  • Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and communication skills allowing effective collaborating with all key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with execution
  • Ability to identify objectives with the greatest business impact, formulate appropriate business plans, and engage team to execute the plan
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing direct reports
  • Understanding of compliance and privacy laws
  • Ability to meet travel demands – 70% time in the field, other travel may be required​
