Responsibilities

  • Work on cutting edge mRNA business, including COVID-19 vaccines and future pipeline - driving strategy and leading A+ team
  • Serve as day-to-day lead for an engaging and passionate client, in close collaboration with fellow account work stream leads
  • Provide strategic counsel and support on pipeline, product, and consumer communications
  • Regularly engage with client teams and collaborate with partnering agencies, shared services, vendors, media and other third-parties
  • Mentor and manage a large team of high-performing junior team members, coaching new skills, mentoring through difficult situations and scenarios, and supporting  
  • Review and develop strategic plans and communications materials ranging from press releases, to messaging tracks and narratives, to executive communications
  • Oversee account management activities (budget, monthly billing process, forecasting, staffing)

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and/or communications industries 
  • Experience and interest advocacy relations/patient engagement 
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment, meeting internal and external deadlines 

The expected annual base salary for this position is $189K- $240K
