We are seeking a Senior Vice President to join the Syneos Corporate Communications Practice. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to establish themselves as a go-to corporate communications expert within Syneos Health. The Corporate Communications Practice delivers corporate communications, branding, financial communications, employee engagement, change management, and social impact counsel to clients across our three agencies.

With a Consistent YoY growth (13x since 2016), we are the fastest growing unit within Syneos PR; our client roster includes large, small and mid-size companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, payor and health space.

Our team is made up of former scientists, medical practitioners, reporters, former Fortune 50 spokespeople, digital, media and integrated marketing specialists, internal communications and change management gurus and passionate practitioners of diversity, health equity and inclusion programs.

Responsibilities

  • A strong communicator, writer and strategist, the ideal candidate will be a high energy, collaborative individual who can manage teams while also rolling up his/her sleeves to work directly with clients to solve problems and implement programs
  • Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, deadline and budget adherence
  • Play major role in creation of communications plans and goals; manage against them
  • Act as client counsellor; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
  • They will collaborate closely with the MD and senior peers to identify and pitch client prospects, they will also be integrally involved in developing new offerings tailored to the needs of our client base.

Job Requirements

  • 12-15 years of experience in corporate communications and/or health communications working with small, mid-size or large healthcare companies; agency (preferred) background

  • Highly confident communicator, adept at persuasive writing and plan development
