Responsibilities

The Clinical Trial Liason Director (CTLD) will play a pivotal role in channeling of scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on accelerated patient identification, enrollment and timely completion of the clinical trials.

This role will initially focus on clinical trials and study site engagement but may later have the opportunity to transition into leading traditional MSL team. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of Clinical Trial Liasons in US focusing in patient identification, enrollment and retention in clinical trials 
  • Developing and implementing trial site feasibility support and potential referral sites specific strategies if required.  Ensures CTLs have a local and regional territory engagement plans with recruitment strategies defined.
  • Ensuring compliant practices and interactions with PIs, site staff and patient referring HCPs & sites in alignment with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws
  • Working closely with client clinical and CRO colleagues to ensure effective and compliant alignment and communications plans with clinical teams
  • Defines and ensures appropriate achievement of performance measures (KPIs). Ensures reporting of field activities and timely communication.  
  • Supports the study teams in the implementation and conduct of clinical study steering committees and other program / study related meetings

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance, and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • RN, BSN, MSN, NP, PA, PharmD, PhD or MD with relevant clinical trial site experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as an MSL/CRA or senior medical affairs and/or clinical development role
  • 3+ years of field-based management experience leading CRAs or MSLs, in medical affairs
  • Cardiovascular experience is required; Oncology experience highly preferred. Experience working with injectable agents preferred
  • Proven ability to interact at a very high level with KOLs and all HCPs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example while recruiting, developing and retaining top Field Medical talent; Ability to transition team from CTL to MSL within 12-18 months
  • Experience in clinical research, patient recruitment, and investigator sponsored trials
