Be part of a team of agents while assisting Syneos Health to map out travel arrangements for their employees and programs. This can include booking flights, train, ground transportation to and from the airport, and hotel accommodations.

Responsibilities

(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)

  • Subject matter expert within their area of responsibility (AOR).
  • Books multi-segment, multi-destination domestic and international itineraries in SABRE.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of domestic and international pricing rules, exchange rates and procedures that are required for all travel.
  • Verify group reservation request for accuracy against meeting profile.
  • Process most cost effective air, train, car and hotel reservations using various discounts (booking class, client rates/codes).
  • Maintain queues to ensure approvals are obtained and deadlines are met.
  • Process exchanges, voids, refunds, schedule changes.
  • Assist with staff and small group reservations.
  • Maintain profiles to include meeting profiles and individual staff profiles.
  • Issue tickets/invoices for approved travel arrangements.
  • Resolve SABRE technical issues.
  • Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following:
    • Hotel pre-payments
    • Air, car and hotel receipt tracking
    • Job coding of all air, car and hotel receipts
    • Provide appropriate receipts to Finance & Compliance
    • Outline all fees associated with travel for consumed and unconsumed expenses to both Finance & Compliance and Meeting Coordinator
  • Attends job starts, post cons, and weekly status meetings as needed.
  • All other tasks as needed and approved by manager.

Job Requirements

  • In-Depth knowledge of Syneos Health travel patterns within AOR is required
  • High School diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience; 8 preferred
  • Knowledge of meetings and group reservations preferred
  • Knowledge of International reservations and ticketing
  • Knowledge of SABRE and TRAMS software required
