Overview

This role will process and ship pre-packaged fulfillment materials for medical clinical trials sites around the world. Daily shipping requirements can range from 1 to 150 packages a day. Works daily with the logistics lead and the printing and fulfillment managers.

Responsibilities

  • Fluent Knowledge using FedEx.com and FedEx ship manager.
  • Knowledge of other shipping platforms (UPS, DHL).
  • International and Domestic Shipping with shipment tracking.
  • Use of International Proformas, Commercial Invoices and IOR contacts.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently batch import or hand enter address information.
  • Ability to work with FedEx Customer Service to resolve any issues.
  • Ability to work with Project Managers to resolve any issues.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs or more.
  • Physically receive and log in occasional shipment from outside vendors.
  • Ability to cross train with fulfillment and printing departments in order to insure redundancy during PTO periods or times of need.
  • Willingness to learn other departmental skills when downtime occurs.

REQUIRED

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. Minimum 1 years of experience
  3. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Programs, with expertise in Excel
  4. Must be highly organized and very detail oriented

 

PREFERRED

  1. Global shipping experience
  2. Experience with email applications, Adobe Acrobat
  3. Demonstrated experience learning new industry, company, product, and/or technical developments of the client's business as well as the agency business
