Responsibilities

 

 The Medical Director is responsible for the oversight of content development and strategy as well as content development. The Medical Director will:
 

  • Review internal and external facing materials to ensure scientific accuracy and quality
  • Work closely with Field Medical and HQ Medical team to help direct medical outreach activities and content creation
  • Responsible for US-based regulatory and safety activities related to client procuct 
  • Provide critical review of Medical Education Grants and Investigator Initiated Research proposals
  • Provide medical and operational oversight and leadership on key medical activities
  • Manage any US medical peri-Launch strategy for product, constructively engaging other business units as required

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance, and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health science field required
  • PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree (e.g., Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Physical Therapy) or M.D., DO or equivalent highly preferred
  • 3 years of experience in medical affairs, preferably office and working with field
  • Proven expertise in medical writing and editing and QC, preferably across wide a range of types of medical documents, especially education slide decks, field medical talking points
  • Broad expertise in medical marketing and strong experience with regulatory and/or safety risk management issues.
  • COVID therapeutics or Anti-infectives experience preferred

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local Covid safety guidelines will be followed.
