Responsibilities

The National Reimbursement Director will be directly responsible for the time sensitive management, development and implementation of all matters related to the project. The National Reimbursement Director will provide leadership, strategic and operational management along with financial support aligned with business objectives. They will also:

  • Integrate with client leadership and collaborate across multi-functional teams to ensure collaborative approach to support reimbursement success.
  • Oversight and support for the Field Reimbursement Directors
  • Provide Reimbursement (coding, coverage any payment policy) coaching expertise on manufacturer products in all places of service
  • Ensure team provides reimbursement education to physician offices throughout the access journey
  • Ensure team follows client rules of engagement, delivers on Management By Objectives/metrics, and provides a high customer satisfaction experience

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10+ years of commercial biotech/pharmaceutical experience
  • 5+ years of field reimbursement or patient services experience with specialty products, biologics preferred
  • 5+ years of proven management experience
  • Proven experience with Hubs, in-depth knowledge on issues related to billing, coding, appeals across physician types
  • Experience with commercial payers, Medicare and Medicaid plans
