This Strategy Director role merges foundational brand strategy and customer experience/engagement strategy to harness the skill of both worlds and grow your career in ways you have dreamed of. It’s where you’ll collaborate with senior team members (SVPs & VPs) to identify strong brand opportunities and craft inspirational POVs, briefs and engagement plans. It also includes being able to work with other team members spanning medical, media, data science, behavioral science and creative. Given our west coast presence and number of team members, this will be a highly visible role with cients and team that you can show the very best you have to offer.

  • Articulate audience facts into deep meaningful human truths / insights
  • Effectively develop market research approaches and point of views
  • Recommend positioning brands that connect to audience emotions and rational thought
  • Translate positioning into meaningful messaging/communication architecture to provoke desired beliefs, feelings, and behaviors that are in the interest of brands we serve that set our creative writers up for what they do best
  • Craft inspiring creative briefs to fuel the passion of our creatives to fuel their very best thinking
  • Create customer journeys across different audiences to see where informational and brand gaps exist
  • Identify the micro-moments of truth that matter on customer journey and the opportunities that those represent
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., creative, data science and media) to craft multi-channel narratives that unfold within the customer’s curated ecosystem for optimal brand experiences
  • Create measurable experiences that drive engagement through connected interactive explorations that designed to be sticky, drive motivation, and increase a brand’s value

Job Requirements

As an experienced brand and CX strategist, our ideal candidate will have: 5-8+ years of experience in the following:

  • Brand/marketing strategy, consulting/business strategy, research/analysis, innovation and/or client service
  • Being comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Having strong writing and presentation skills
  • Having strong proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Showing passion for understanding customers/audiences and how that can be applied to brand
  • Showing passion for the health sector and working in a health company (including all sub-sectors of health)
  • Working understanding of Customer experience fundamentals:
    • Crafting audience personas/profiles based on technographic and demographic
  • Basic media in order to partner with our in-house Media Strategist effectively
  • Data driven.  Can sift through data to find insights and partner with Advanced Analytics to help define a strategy, as well as measure the result
  • Basic UX principles
  • Accessibility compliance a plus
  • Paid Search, Paid Social and SEO a significant plus

Preference given to candidates with experience in:

  • Working knowledge of at least one of the following MarTech platforms to guide CX Strategy design possibilities:
    • Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager
