Responsibilities

The Diabetes Educator is a field-based, non-promotional team member whose role is to help prescribers, medical staff, and office team members in the training and use of the client's platform. This includes providing training on the basic features and functionality of the client compatible App and training HCPs and office staff on how to access and read data reports displayed in the HCP web portal. The Diabetes Educator will:

  • Establish cadence of onsite and remote clinic support
  • Engage Clinic staff to support workflow integration through collaborative problem solving
  • Partner with Sales and other Field Representatives to provide sales, account management, reimbursement, medical, outcomes, and technical specialized support when needed
  • Conduct training of new staff, and re-training of existing staff as needed based on personnel or Platform changes
  • Utilize Field Based Reporting Tools (i.e., Veeva CRM) to capture and report on customer engagements and needs
  • In the event a customer has reported a Product Complaint or Adverse Event, follow the client's guidance on the appropriate documentation and reporting
  • Collaborate with US Team and Sales and other Field leadership to continuously improve the Customer Experience through field support and customer resources
  • Additional responsibilities may be required and/or responsibilities may change as program evolves

Job Requirements

Along with your energy and versatility, you must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2 plus years of diabetes education experience with patient support team members
  • CDCES preferred
  • Pharmaceutical industry highly preferred
  • Customer Support or Customer Training Experience
  • Understanding of Diabetes and Insulin Management
  • Experience with Connected Diabetes Technology (Pens, Pumps, BGMs, CGMs, etc.….)
  • Knowledge on how to interpret diabetes reports (AGP, CGM Reports, etc.…)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively integrate and coordinate with Field Team Members
  • Ability to engage with customers live and virtually

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local Covid safety guidelines will be followed.
