Responsibilities

The Field Educator is primarily responsible for educating and creating awareness with key patient care team members involved in the treatment and administration of our client’s novel monoclonal antibody therapy cocktail to treat COVID-19, including HCPs (may include PCP’s, ER, ID’s, etc.) as well as other stakeholders critical in supporting administration (infusion centers, nurses,etc.). In this role, you will: 

  • Engagewith key accounts and HCPs/allied care givers responsible for product administration and patient monitoring, both proactively and reactively, virtually and in-person, to educate on the clinical data for use in appropriate patients as well as administration logistics 
  • Collaborate and partner with peers in the commercial organization, brand team and other support partners to deliver an extraordinary customer experience 
  • Participate in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the health provider and patient  

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has: 

  • 3+ years pharmaceutical sales experience 
  • Buy and Bill or Specialty Pharmacy Required 
  • Critical care or infectious disease experience preferred 
  • Strong understanding of how biologic products are purchased, ordered and administered which include knowledge reimbursement policies 
  • Must exhibit strong experience developing, implementing, executing and measuring success with account plans 
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
