Solutions Architect

Overview

The Solutions Architect is responsible for both product planning and product evangelizing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Technology team and IT to deliver unique and compelling insight products. It also includes coordinating with sales, marketing and customer service support to ensure market demand. The Solutions Architect also creates efficiencies across the business and ensures that the product and Roadmap efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and Roadmap both in Customer terms and Internal Teams
• Role reports directly to the Business Leader-EVP
• Deliver prioritized features and corresponding justification
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
• Be the expert in the Product Roadmap and Plan Forward
• Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
• Support in the Development of sales tools and collateral
• Act as a leader within the company

Job Requirements

• Development experience with C# MVC with Razor
• Development experience with jQuery
• Experience with Oracle and/or SQL
• Experience with ASP.Net WebForms (VB Preferred)
• Experience with developing WebAPIs
• Experience with XML
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
• Expert in C#, microservices architecture and familiar with the MVC Framework
• Excellent Front End Development experience, focusing on large-scale, consumer-facing websites and web and mobile applications
• Experience working with JSON objects and communicating with RESTful microservices
• Excellent skills and experience in JavaScript, CSS, JQuery and utilizing RESTful microservices
• Experience with one or more web framework preferably Angular 10+
• Passion for building new products in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products—SaaS or Learning Company models
• Experience in a role in the research or equivalent service sector market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills, Project management and writing to internal owners
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
