Responsibilities

The National Business Director (NBD) will be directly responsible for a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) team performance and strategy within an assigned geography. The FRM is responsible for market development and implementation of the coverage and reimbursement strategy that will maximize patient access within an assigned geographic area. The NBD will align and execute on business strategy – marketing, market access pull-through, launches, multi-channel customer engagement, and employee development, to deliver exceptional results.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage the employment process, offer thru start date, with candidate, client and appropriate Syneos Health personnel and coordinate and collaborate with the client to ensure successful on-boarding and field certification

  • Be the single point of contact for the client on program needs. Maintain consistent and open communication with client team, as needed. Drive Syneos Health connectivity with field personnel, pulling thru the Syneos Health culture and communicating Syneos Health business updates
  • Provide high level strategic planning with client to address client needs
  • Deliver reimbursement (coding, coverage any payment policy) coaching expertise on manufacturer products in all places of service
  • Ensure team provides reimbursement education to physician offices throughout the access journey

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or specific practice management experience preferred
  • 10+ years in reimbursement, sales, supporting a specialty or biologic product
  • 5+ years in management capacity required
  • GI experience preferred
  • Experience working with a patient centric HUB
  • Previous market access management experience preferred
  • Past success in launching products and execution of launch strategies and plans
  • Ability to travel up to 75% and possess a valid driver’s license required

 

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed.
