We are seeking a Vice President to join the Syneos Health Corporate Practice. The Corporate Practice client roster includes large, small and mid-size companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, payor and health space.

Responsibilities

• The person in this role would be the client day-to-day contact. They will be responsible for program implementation and program management, strategic counsel and have account administrative responsibilities. They will develop media materials (press releases, Q&As, message documents), media and conference topics for executives, internal communications and employee engagement materials, slides (be able to clearly write up support development of strategic plans, program tactics, timelines) and scopes of work. They will oversee media outreach and identify and place executives at appropriate forums to increase their visibility.
• They will collaborate closely with senior management to identify and pitch client prospects, they will also be integrally involved in developing new offerings tailored to the needs of our client base.

Job Requirements

• At least 7-10 years of experience in corporate communications and internal communications (healthcare experience is not required but is a plus)
• Knowledge of the media environment and media relations strategy
• Excellent writing skills including PowerPoint and Excel skills (ability to clearly write strategic plans, program tactics, program materials, develop timelines and scopes of work)
• This candidate must have strong project management skills, including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning. Strong writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, and oral communications skills are critical.
• Writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, attention to detail and oral communications are required.
• Agency background preferred (but open to in-house)
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in order to juggle multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to successfully manage time, workflow, and schedule in order to meet strict and sometimes aggressive deadlines
• Sharp attention to detail
• Possess strong communication skills and an artistic intuition
• Open and receptive to design feedback but also able to represent their own work/rationale and stand up for designs you believe in
• Resourceful: Able to problem solve and find multiple design solutions, especially under narrow specific parameters or strict budget restraints
• Able to work quickly and efficiently
• Must take pride in your work and be passionate about design
