Jr. Digital and Social Media Specialist

Overview

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to conceptualize and execute digital and social media programs for several healthcare clients
• Manage online communities for clients and create monthly editorial calendars for multiple social channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
• Assist with the financial tracking of the digital and social media accounts and campaigns
• Review and monitor competitive brands in similar communities
• Leverage trends in social media culture to provide proactive recommendations to account teams
• Help to prepare engagement and measurement reports for clients

•  

  Take advantage of internal training to expand knowledge of digital and social media tactics

•  

  Ensure that assigned client work is executed smoothly and efficiently

•  

  Participate in team brainstorms to discuss how social media insights translate into actionable client recommendations

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a junior-level digital or social media strategist role and/or community manager

•  

  Developed project management abilities, with experience with digital or social media projects

•  

  Be a resourceful, energetic individual who is a creative problem solver

•  

  Possess a deep curiosity about the latest trends in social media and digital marketing

•  

  Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment

•  

  Must have strong attention to detail

•  

  Excellent written communication skills

•  

  Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry (preferred but not required)

•  

  Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and some familiarity with social media platforms and tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, LinkedIn analytics, Hootsuite)
