We are seeking a public relations professional with strong project management, logistical and desktop research skills. This job presents the opportunity to work on work streams across one account focused in rare diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Support account team around development of internal and external communications, such as press releases, Q&As, creative materials (fact sheets, videos), memos 
  • Conduct document referencing, gain knowledge of online review system and participate in MLR reviews
  • Develop timelines, calendars, action plans, runs of show, agendas, call notes and overall account support materials
  • Support budget management and monthly billing processes
  • Regularly engage with client teams and collaborate with partnering agencies, shared services, vendors, media and other third-parties

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field (preferred)
  • Maximum 1 year of experience  in a professional environment within the public relations and/or communications industries (required)
  • Experience and interest in healthcare (preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment (required)
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and third-parties (required)
  • Must have strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
  • Social media experience (preferred)
  • Individual should be a self-starter/self-motivator

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local Covid safety guidelines will be followed.
