Responsibilities

The Executive Director of Market Access Solutions is a member of the Value & Access Leadership Team responsible for growing business with new and existing clients by driving Syneos Health organizational value and ensuring Syneos Health is a preferred partner. They will apply extensive and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare marketplace & market access landscape to guide client specific solution strategy, design, implementation, and future-state operations of programs by providing subject matter expertise. They will aggregate issues & opportunities from across the client base and identify potential solutions. They may be asked to evaluate new service offerings including partnerships with 3rd parties. They bridge the gap between business development, client, and Syneos training & operations to ensure all solutions meet or exceed client needs.


 
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Help build and implement market access solutions, and effective execution by:
  • Exploring new potential solution offerings/strategic partnerships
  • Ensure market access solutions design allows for successful delivery of service level agreement requirements
  • Support business development, thought leadership, white paper development, and industry conference material as needed
  • Cultivating and growing our existing partnershipBoosting internal leadership capabilities
  • Responsible to support department level training needs which may include material development overseeing strategic training initiatives
  • Manage Market Access Business Leads across field reimbursement, patient education, and account management
  • Provides consulting support to launch program management to ensure teams meet client program strategic vision
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, laws, and guidelines that relate to commercial or regulatory programs to support client initiatives
  • Support business development in final solution design in the final stages of the selling process through successful implementation
  • Use Business Acumen to assist clients in development of strategic direction and implementation of tactical efforts for launch products, as well as inline products related to our solutions
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency of client program
  • Contribute to strategic and business planning for the program(s) by participating in planning activities at the client level and internal division level
  • Ensure direct reports meet communicate client and Syneos goals and remain compliant with all policies and contractual obligations
  • Meet communicated annual goals

 

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiate, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Min of 15 years in a Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Min 10 years people management experience
  • Min 4 year college degree required.
  • leading Market Access or field Teams leading or managing HUB / Patient Services in operations or marketing role
  • Managing, launching, or leading market access team
  • Marketing role at a pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturer
  • Working with Senior Management/Executive leadersCollaborating/leading cross functional teams
  • Delivering strategic and business plans
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage ambiguous situations
  • Ability to complete tasks on time and on budget
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally with peers
  • Proficient in Microsoft office with ability to create executive level presentation ready slide decks

 

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local Covid safety guidelines will be followed.
