While reporting to the Country Manager or designee, this role will provide critical support promoting and educating in the assigned territory. Frequent collaboration with the regional team, and other promotional resources to respond to their day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities. Engage in deep discussions with prescribers, hospital Pharmacists, Nurses and other important stakeholders in the territory. In addition, this role will provide critical support on pre- and post-authorisation Market Access activities


  • Regional responsibility for key hospitals/KOLs including targeting and segmentation
  • Mapping of relevant stakeholders and initiation of early engagement
  • Implementation of Sales Action Plan for defined region to achieve sales targets
  • Prepare strategy for regional and hospital negotiations including value proposition, contracting and product tendering
  • Support development of pricing strategies
  • Support negotiations with relevant authorities
  • Collect insights and support regional and local Health Technology Assessments (HTAs) discussions
  • Identify and activate projects to optimise patient pathways / disease management programs
  • Determine the most crucial needs of key customers and carry them out to ensure that they receive first‐class customer care and service
  • Support education on customer product for prescribers, hospital pharmacists, nurses and patient associations in compliant manner
  • Maintaining and enhancing knowledge of products, positioning, key messages through various communication channels
  • Work in close collaboration and in full transparency with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Support customer product training for health professionals

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing degree, or equivalent related experience, plus extensive sales and Market Access/reimbursement experience in pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Company
  • Hospital business experience required
  • Cardiology or Pulmonology experience strongly preferred
  • Proven successful sales track record
  • Strong Market Access background
  • Outstanding key account management planning and organisation skills
  • An outstanding networker who identifies the touch points in each account which need to be influenced, the stakeholders involved and builds and executes plans which deliver sales success
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Fluency in English and German
